Vessel Documentation & Compliance

IMC has extensive experience working with various international Classification Societies; Australian and international Flag Authorities and other regulatory bodies. 

As a result it is able to accurately and efficiently prepare the relevant documentation required for compliance with various international and national maritime Conventions and Codes. 

This includes:

  • Initial certification of new vessels
  • Annual, intermediate and renewal surveys
  • Changes of vessel flag or class

With the in-house capability to design and analyse full ship structures to international classification society standards for both steel and aluminium construction, IMC also provides structural engineering services including:
